Hardey can be but ain't ncessarily so a solo player and regularly collaborates with Seb Davidson on double bass & vocals and Caitlin Johnston on banjo and vocals 
The music sits somewhere in the folk, blues & roots territory but influences come in from everywhere to create songs that range from sensitive & intimate to comical & raucous.
